Yesterday evening I went out to a nearby bookstore and ended up in a place 15 kilometers from my place.it was hot whole day. Suddenly started to rain at around 7.00pm. Rained heavily for 90 minutes - 'kumbhadrona male'. As usual due to bad planning, clogged drains, bad driving , there was choas everywhere. It took me 105 minutes of travel (in bus) to come back. If I have taken Bike or car, then it would have taken whole night to extricate from the situation!.
Today's newspapers are carrying snap of a bus which is almost drowning in road!!!. In a corner of a newspaper, one more news, of two kids who went to tution have not turned up in their homes after tution. Probably washed down the drain :-( . All roads are looking like open drainage channels!. It is a terrible mess.
Shivu will definitely feel sad as he did not have the privilage of flooded city !.
