Many times Interventional cardiologists are called as plumbers & Electrophysiologists as electricians.
Couple of days back, I read a report in a newspaper which stated that coliform count in water supplied in Bangalore is so high, it is not fit for consumption ( As you all know, coliform count is an indication of faecal contamination). Water supply lines & sewarage lines run in parallel, sometimes cross each other. A leak in one line leads to contamination of the other and vice versa. This leads to high coliform count(technically - not always). For me water supply lines are similar to arterial(systemic) lines and sewarage lines are venous(systemic) lines. Any communication between them leads to cyanosis (technically - not always). So can we call contaminated water as cyanotic water!!!!!?. This is for time pass.......
