Reader's digest, Abbaiah Naidu

For a long time & time to time, there were mails telling that I have selected from so & so database to win Rs:.............by subscribing to Reader's digest magazine. Most of you must also have received such mails.
Reader's digest is said to be or claimed to be most widely read magazine in the world. I have never purchased a copy of it so far. All copies I read were second hand or taken from others. Most of the articles in it have feeling of soft sand. When I go through articles or write ups in Readers' digest I am always afraid I may get caught and sink in the soft sand!!!!!.
There was(his current position is not known to me!!) a director in kannada movies. His name was 'Abbaiah Naidu'. He was known as 'towel king'. His movies were so much filled with melodrama, viewrs adviced to take towels, not handkerchief to wipe their tears!!!!.
some of the mails, forwarded or written by few of batchmates resemble Readers' digest or Abbaiah naidu's movies....
Lol.....I am enjoying it. Now I am not afraid of getting caught or sinking............
