Lavelle Road - Gold to dust.

Recently I read president of association of commercial establishments of Lavelle road telling that road has become dusty and garbage dump for outsiders.
Lavelle road is in central Bangalore and cramped between MG road, St Mark's road, Kasturaba road. It bisects Grant's road, now called Vittala Mallya road which houses UB city of mallya. It is really dusty and will not get parking place.
This Lavelle whose name is given to the road, was a British living here in early 20th centuary. He is the one who discovered and started mining in Kolar gold field(but history says mining in KGF was done since the time of Harappa and Mohenzodaro!!!). Mysore maharaja gave land to Lavelle to live in the current Lavelle road. He used to go to KGF on horseback. Golden Lavelle has been reduced to garbage dump-Lavelle road!!.
